When we moved into our new home and finally were able to get a puppy I started my search. There was this one little black puppy at Grumblerock Farns in PA that kept jumping on my daughter and I and was so happy and wanted us to undoubtedly pick him- so we took him home. He has since been my baby- my heart dog. We have a bond that is unbreakable. He taught me alot of what I needed to know about cocker spaniels and how loving and special they are. He has been though several very bad grooming experiences and good thing for him and me- his hair grew back extra quick. But most important- If it was not for him- I would have never developed such admiration for our breed. Dempsey is very competitive and would excel in flyball if given the chance. He, however is a sore looser and would not excel in sportsmanship! He is intelligent and very loving. He is not aggressive but can be watchful of strangers. He adores our daughter and is excellent with other children. He is patient and gentle with them and loves to play fetch with them.
We truly enjoy having Dempsey as part of our family- He will forever be the champion of the cuz balls and the couch at our home; and forever be Rose's favorite dog. Dempsey is not part of our breeding program, and will forever be out pet.

Dempsey's Favorite things: fetching anything especially cuz balls, the snow, running fast, DESTUFFING, and most importantly his mom.
Dempsey's Dislikes: Sharing his toys, the rain, the vacuum, having his nails clipped or getting groomed

Delilah was my first delve into the parti color variety. She truly started by parti color affection.

She is cute and petite and has a pretty gait. She will always be considered one of my foundation girls.

She did not have many puppies- but the people who have a puppy from her are very lucky indeed. I happen to be one of them. Delilah and Vinny together blessed me with our first homebred champion Dahlia. Even though Delilah was not a showgirl herself she could have very well been. She is truly a compact typey girl with tons of bone and substance just likeI love them. She is just more of a homebody doesn't entertain a lot of fuss. She is very happy staying home and chasing the butterflies.

She is truly one of my best friends and could never see her being happier any other place but in Moondrop Gardens where she will live her whole life.

Delilah crossed the rainbow bridge on November 16,2023 at 15 years and 9 months old in my arms. I look forward to meeting my sweet girl again one day.

Need Hugs? Vinny's been with us since he stole Jim's heart at nationals one year by putting his paws on his shoulders and giving him a hug. He is a very sweet, attention needy boy and very gentle soulful heart. He loves to be petted and scratched and you almost feel bad when you are ready to walk away because he's not ready for you to leave...ever..

You can always shmooze Vinny over by calling him HANDSOME (which he really is by the way). He loves to play ball and loves his Jones Bones- just a little too much. I would consider it an addiction. Vinny has sired some wonderful parti color puppies at MDG and enjoying his retirement on the couch getting to watch his grandchildren in the show ring and begging for bacon and massages.

SHOW BRAGS

Vinny finished in a handful of show as was specialed by Kathy Korab for most of 2010 where he remained in the top 10 ranking for parti cockers with an invitation to Eukanuba. One of his most memorable wins was Best of Breed at the Maryland Cocker Spaniel Specialty against some nice competition.

Vinny is co-owned with Kathy Korab We could never thank Kathy enough for entrusting her boy with us. He is very special.
